Bird count along the Bosque River Trail June 6, 2026

Weather: Clear, however a small storm just passed, T ~ 75 at 8am, no wind

General comment: Moola Fest, a carnival and concert event occupies City Park, and there are several baseball games in progress in the park, so bird numbers are low. This is especially true for birds common to the park like Barn Swallows, Black Belly Whistling Ducks, Great Blue Herons, and Scissortail Flycatchers.

First day where abundant dragonflies are common
