Red Shouldered Hawk

This is the most common Hawk along the BRT. You can often get within 20 feet of the birds. A lot of the time they are perched on tree branches above or near the river.

Mallard Duck

There are resident Mallard Ducks in City Park. But wild Mallards also stop at the river. Usually there are three ducks, two males and a female in these wild groups. The group in the picture contained seven males and two females. You can’t see all the ducks in the group in this picture.
