Four Scissortail Flycatchers

Scissortail Flycatchers often hang out in small groups in the parking lot. I think it’s easier for them to spot and catch bugs on the asphalt.

Great Blue Heron in a tree

Its hard to know how many Great Blue Herons there are along the BRT, as they fly up and down the river valley. I know there are at least up to three as I have seen three herons flying together.
