Rodeo Grounds Coffee
One of the really nice parts about walking the BRT is actually not part of the BRT. Just across the road from the northwest corner of City Park is Rodeo Grounds Coffee. This is an excellent coffee shop. The coffee is great, and the staff is wonderful. They are always cheerful and friendly. A small cup-of-joe (about two regular cups of restaurant coffee) is $2.30 *. That’s a hard price to beat these days.
When the weather is hot, and the trail can get very hot in the summer, Rodeo Grounds is always cool. In the winter Rodeo Grounds is an island of warmth. There is a nice seating area if you want to spend time with friends. I usually take my coffee down by the river to a bench, where I watch for birds.
I recommend Rodeo Grounds Coffee to anyone walking the BRT. Start or end your walk with a nice hot or cold drink. Now, this is a completely unsolicited recommendation. This isn’t a paid advertisement. I don’t get a break on the price of my coffee. Rodeo Grounds Coffee is just a nice place, with really good coffee. If you are visiting Stephenville you should stop by.
