Luna Moth

Occasionally I find large moths on the BRT path. I usually find them in the early morning. I pick them up and put them on bushes, so they don’t get stepped on or eaten by dogs.

Polyphemus Moth

I find the moths near light posts. I’m pretty sure they are attracted to the lights, and are surprised by sunrise. As a result they just flutter to the ground.
